ROMNEY'S INSECURITY

ACTUALLY......Mitt Romney seems to be a bit confused about fairness, truth and honor concerning his opponent in the presidential race.  Or, perhaps he just lacks the confidence in himself to participate in a crucial debate.  Regardless of the reason, Governor Romney believes that Barack Obama, the President of the United States, would "say things that aren't true" in a debate for the purpose of misleading him in questions that were asked by the moderator.  I can't think of a more despicable to thing to say about the President, or for that matter the office of the presidency.

Romney has played down Obama's likability and the advantages of his friendly personality.  Perhaps  because he knows he is has a reputation of being not well liked and he's trying to compensate.  Romney is well aware that these debates will be a decisive point in his campaign and has been training for them.

In Romney's own words on Good Morning America, he said he "thinks the challenge that I'll have is that the president tends to, how shall I say it, to say things that aren't true." (Is that the same thing as saying that the president would lie?)  He has this worked out though.... he said "I've looked at prior debates.  And in that kind of case, it's difficult to say, well am I going to spend my time correcting things that aren't quite accurate?  Or am I going to spend my time talking about the things I want to talk about?"  When asked about what course he'd take, Romney said "well, it's a challenge you always have.  And that's a judgement you make".

If you can make any sense out of all that babbling, you will remember that in the past Governor Romney has often not answered questions put to him and always talked about what he wanted to talk about whether it's in a debate, or a news interview.  That's probably because the rich kids can do whatever they want.  He's wealthy, you know!  Not to worry, he has an ace in the hole........

OUR YOUTH - OUR FUTURE

ACTUALLY, it was in 2008 that Barack Obama spoke to a group of young people at a University in the mid-west trying to get his audience to be enthused on a theme of  hope for tomorrow, their career's and their lives.  They figured they couldn't overcome the politics and cynicism of Washington.  Then he convinced them that with hard work they could elect a "skinny kid with a funny name - Barack Hussein Obama" to lead their country.  Hence the statement derived "Yes we Can!"    and yes we did!
 
Everyone is concerned now about the cost of a college. The President has suggested that college age students commit to at least one year of  higher education or vocational training that would help prepare for their future.  Most kids have to take out a student loan for college - you don't have to have a "wealthy father who was an executive".  All you need is to badly want to improve yourself.  There are other ways - scholarships, grants and pure hard work.  The nations youth haven't always known about what real politics would mean for their future.  Some never even thought about government at all.  They are now better informed.  The President is trying to attract the young voters, not only for his good, but for theirs as well.  He's done a lot for you - now it's your turn.

Register to vote in the national election and remember to VOTE for your friend and mine President Barack Obama!!  He's on your side - we need to support him and watch his back!!
