ACTUALLY......Mitt Romneys "event" in the Hamptons must have been truly amazing. Just imagine all that wealth, prosperity, affluence and resources the privileged guests have to share with the former Governor of Massachusetts. One of his guests even mentioned that Mitt Romney was the "engine" that's driving the economy for America. Oh, I sure hope not. He is however, making a hit with some of the Chinese as he outsourced some work that could be done here in the U.S.
Romneys arrogant, superficial nonsense should have gone over very well. There was long line of Range Rovers, BMW's, Porsche roadsters and a Ferrari waiting to kiss his ring, and of course throw some of their assets into the coffer.
There was one comment that I feel compelled to mention. I can't give any credit to this women because she refused to reveal her name but she said the following: "I just think that if you're lower income - one, your not as educated, two, they don't understand how it works, they don't understand how the system works, they don't understand the impact". She also said " "I don't think the common person is getting it...my college kid, the
baby sitters, the nails ladies - everybody who's got the right to vote -
they don't understand what's going on."
I believe that the only thing this women is "getting" is that she has mega bucks to throw around, along with her big mouth.
Wonder what this women was thinking/drinking and if she made this statement before or after cocktails.
